You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime through proactive diagnostics and expert repairs, utilizing your technical proficiency in diesel and hydraulic systems to keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive maintenance schedules to guarantee equipment dependability and safety. Perform advanced mechanical troubleshooting on diesel-powered systems and hydraulic components to resolve operational issues efficiently. Interpret complex technical documentation, including schematics, blueprints, and illustrated parts catalogs, to guide repair processes. Utilize specialized diagnostic hardware, scanners, and testing equipment to identify and rectify electrical and mechanical faults. Maintain rigorous documentation of all service activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure accurate fleet records. Apply industry-standard safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, during all maintenance tasks. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in heavy equipment repair and mechanical troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading and applying technical manuals and electrical schematics. Ability to operate and maintain diesel-powered machinery and hydraulic systems. Possession of a valid driver's license and a personal set of basic hand tools.
