Position is Monday-Friday 11am-7pm This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying busy, and being part of a team. You'll work closely with our operators, lead mechanic, and supervisors to help keep equipment maintained, organized, and ready to go when it's needed. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed. What You'll Do Keep track of shop inventory, parts, supplies, and equipment Perform basic equipment maintenance and light mechanical work Assist with routine equipment inspections Identify and communicate equipment issues to the lead mechanic or supervisor Help prepare and maintain equipment for snow removal operations Keep tools, parts, and supplies organized and easy to find Track parts and materials that need to be ordered Help keep the shop clean, safe, and organized Assist with general shop duties and projects Pitch in and help the team with other tasks as needed What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and reliable transportation At least one year of mechanical experience and/or experience working around heavy equipment Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and mechanical systems Ability to recognize basic equipment problems and communicate when additional repairs are needed Organized, dependable, and self-motivated Strong attention to detail Able to accurately track inventory, parts, and supplies Comfortable working independently and taking direction Willing to learn and take on new tasks Willing to pitch in and help wherever needed Welding experience is a plus About the Position We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in keeping things in good working order.
