Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and repairing heavy machinery. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is capable of diagnosing mechanical issues, fabricating parts, and working with OEM specifications. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to breakdowns. Repair air brake systems and other hydraulic components. Collaborate with service technicians to troubleshoot complex issues. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Requirements Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role. Strong knowledge of heavy machinery systems, including air brakes and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation. Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is preferred. Familiarity with OEM standards for equipment repair and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required. Additional Information Housing & food provided Relocation from Anchorage provided
