Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair machinery and vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines and mechanical systems. Pay depends on experience. Please respond with a resume.

Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and align machinery components as needed. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate into major repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair work while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proficiency in working with industrial equipment and farm machinery. Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and principles. Experience with electrical systems related to heavy equipment. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics for troubleshooting purposes. Competence in using hand tools for mechanical repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
