In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of hydraulic systems and heavy equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of hydraulic and fluid power systems on equipment including excavators, cranes, tractors, and construction equipment. Your expertise will play a vital part in ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently, supporting our commitment to excellence in service and customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose and repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and related components to ensure optimal performance of heavy equipment, farm and industrial machinery Fabricate custom hydraulic hoses using hand tools, crimpers, and schematics to meet specific job requirements Conduct fabrication tasks and custom modifications to meet operational needs Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential failures before they occur; perform welding and soldering as needed for repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software to perform precise repairs and maintenance tasks Conduct heavy lifting operations safely while servicing large equipment or components Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, troubleshooting logs to ensure accurate documentation of all work performed, and great attitude with customers, ensuring that their happiness and satisfaction with our service keeps them coming back. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working with heavy construction machinery or industrial equipment Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, and automotive repair techniques Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; familiar with schematics and technical manuals Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers Knowledge of OEM standards for farm machinery and construction equipment maintenance Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling large components or equipment parts Prior service technician experience in a dealership or industrial setting is highly preferred Join us as a Hydraulic Technician to leverage your technical skills in a vibrant environment where your expertise makes a real impact.
