Field Service Mechanic (Heavy Equipment)
Locations:
Rison, Fort Smith & Pine Bluff, AR Full-Time | Immediate Opening | Weekly Pay Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic looking for a long-term career with excellent benefits and the opportunity to work in the field? We're seeking a skilled Field Service Mechanic to maintain and repair construction equipment supporting utility operations across Arkansas.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment. Service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical, and mechanical components. Maintain equipment including Vermeer and Ditch Witch directional drills , excavators, cable plows, passenger trucks, and other utility construction equipment. Complete inspections, troubleshooting, service documentation, and field repairs. Perform occasional welding and fabrication (preferred).
Qualifications:
3+ years of diesel engine and hydraulic repair experience (trade school may substitute for experience). Diesel mechanic trade school preferred. Experience servicing Vermeer and Ditch Witch utility construction equipment is strongly preferred. Strong mechanical, hydraulic, diesel engine, and electrical troubleshooting skills. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred). Ability to pass a background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record. Willingness to travel throughout Arkansas as project needs require.

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday with some Fridays required, plus overtime and weekends as needed. Flexibility to travel to other project locations in other states is required. Pay:
$24.00 - $32.00 per hour
