You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a background in heavy construction equipment or rental required. Advanced experience with major & minor repairs of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel and gas engines on construction equipment and delivery fleet. Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, DEF, and EGR aftertreatment systems is highly preferred. Extensive experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing heavy equipment repairs. Must have the necessary tools you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs. Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications. Advanced understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods. Diesel laptop experience is required. Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and efficient time management techniques Successfully manage multiple priorities concurrently, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
