$25-$30 per hour, based on experience Re-Create Companies is seeking an experienced Service Mechanic to maintain and repair the vehicles and equipment used by our masonry crews. This is a hands-on position for someone who can troubleshoot problems, make reliable repairs, and help keep our crews working safely and on schedule. Work may take place at our shop or at jobsites throughout the Phoenix area. What you'll do Diagnose, service, and repair company trucks, work vehicles, trailers, and construction equipment. Maintain equipment used in masonry work, which may include forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, compressors, mixers, saws, and grout equipment. Troubleshoot engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and other mechanical issues. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, and identify repairs before equipment fails in the field. Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete field repairs when practical. Document work performed and communicate repair needs, parts needs, and equipment downtime. Keep tools, work areas, and equipment organized and follow safe repair practices. What we're looking for Professional experience repairing vehicles, diesel equipment, construction equipment, or a combination of these. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. Experience with hydraulic and electrical diagnostics. Ability to prioritize repairs when multiple crews need equipment. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites. Dependability, clear communication, and attention to safety. Experience with masonry or concrete equipment is a plus.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
