In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all aspects of a ready mix truck. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability, supporting our commitment to delivering quality service. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on ready mix trucks, mixers, and related heavy equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals; execute repairs accurately and efficiently. Conduct fabrication work such as welding, metal fabrication, and component replacement to maintain equipment integrity. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with company standards. Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems such as hydraulics, transmissions, air brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems on various different mixer systems and makes. Skills Proven experience working with Ready Mix Trucks. Strong knowledge of Ready Mix Truck diagnostics, mechanical systems repair, and electrical system troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Ability to read schematics accurately for electrical wiring and mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills for working with team members or clients.
