Job DescriptionAs a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while minimizing downtime.
What you're responsible for:
Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic toolsPerforming routine and preventative maintenance on heavy equipmentRepairing or replacing worn or damaged components, including hydraulic systems and electrical systems (12V/24V)Performing welding and metal fabrication repairs as neededCoordinating maintenance schedules with department managers to reduce downtimeMaintaining accurate maintenance and repair records using the CMMSEnsuring all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and proceduresQualificationsTo join our team:
You have 8-10 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipmentYou have strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, cylinders, and electrical systemsYou have experience with welding and metal fabricationYou can read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprintsYou are comfortable working independently and in a team environmentYou are safety-focused and able to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting#AIMUS
