Job Description
N&S Tractor is seeking a skilled Agriculture Equipment Service Mechanic to join our service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural equipment while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and committed to providing efficient, accurate repairs. Essential Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issues on agricultural equipment. Perform repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. Remove, install, disassemble, and reassemble equipment components with minimal supervision. Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with warranty standards. Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly with management and customers. Complete all required service documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional service. Collaborate with fellow technicians and provide guidance when appropriate. Participate in ongoing product and technical training to stay current with equipment and technology. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Five to ten years of related mechanical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical bulletins, and parts documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn company software. Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
