Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Generator Rental team as a Generator Shop Technician .

This position may also require but not limited to the following duties, field service repairs, re-fueling, delivering and picking up portable generators, technical support and some travel as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Trouble shoot and makes repairs to generator fleet. Working with operations manager and generator fleet manager to prioritize repairs. Diagnose and/or order parts required for repairs. Tracking parts orders in system. Work on equipment. Ensure fleet is turned and rental ready. Enters all repairs in database (Gens Plus). Ensure shop in kept in a clean and safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS
Manages time efficiently. Clean and valid state driving record. Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to multitask. Extensive knowledge of engines and able to perform engine overhauls. John Deere, Cat, Cummins, Isuzu, Volvo, Doosan and others preferred. Understanding and troubleshooting AC generators and electrical system preferred. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams preferred. Working knowledge of Isuzu, Cat, Cummins, Doosan, MQ, MMD, Volvo, and John Deere engines and generators preferred. Able to use computer and related software to trouble shoot engine and generator controls. Must have mechanical knowledge.
Total Estimated Compensation:
