Job Summary:

As an Equipment Associate, you'll be an essential part of our rental operations — helping customers find the right equipment, keeping our yard running smoothly, and supporting deliveries and pick-ups. This is an active, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in helping customers succeed. If you're a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for customer service, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with equipment inquiries and service needs Load and unload equipment for customers, ensuring safe handling and transport Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance Organize and maintain the yard to keep it clean, safe, and highly functional Assist with inventory tracking for equipment and supplies Provide product demonstrations and share equipment features and benefits Troubleshoot minor equipment issues — a "handyman mindset" is a huge plus! Collaborate with sales and service teams to meet customer needs Follow all safety protocols to create a safe work environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in equipment rental, yard work, or customer service preferred Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record required Experience making deliveries and/or operating pickups + trailers preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform small repairs or adjustments Forklift or equipment operation experience (certification preferred — or willing to train!) Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills
