Job Summary The Heavy Equipment Lube Tech performs preventative and minor repair and restorative maintenance on heavy industrial equipment.

Compensation $30.00 to $45.00 HOURLYResponsibilities Services and performs minor repairs on gas and diesel heavy equipment such as scrapers, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, wheel loaders, water and lube trucks and pick-ups Installs, removes, maintains and inspects equipment Performs diagnostics, welding and fabrication as needed Checks and fills fluid levels, service lube points and performs routine preventative maintenance Maintains service, repair and maintenance records Prepares work orders and orders parts in SAP Maintains positive relationships with plant personnel Monitors warranty and service agreements and contacting vendor reps as required Performs other duties as assigned Education High school diploma/GEDRequirements/Qualifications Experience working in an industrial shop environment and repairing heavy mining equipment Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Able to operate vehicles and equipment for testing and troubleshooting before and after performing maintenance activities Able to provide own tools Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer programs Physical requirements: lifting up to 60 lbs., bending, stooping and stretching
Preferred:
Welding experience Experience working with Visionlink SAP experience Mechanics Certifications CAT SIS Program experience Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
