We are looking for an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our maintenance team! Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and skilled Forklift Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on our fleet of forklifts and material-handling equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and can work independently in a fast-paced warehouse/industrial environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair forklifts and material-handling equipment Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and drive-system issues Repair and replace motors, batteries, brakes, tires, chains, cylinders, hoses, and other components Troubleshoot charging systems and forklift batteries Use diagnostic equipment and electrical test meters Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime Inspect equipment to ensure it meets company and safety requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate equipment issues and repair recommendations to management Follow OSHA and company safety procedures Qualifications 2+ years of forklift mechanic or industrial equipment repair experience preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred Hydraulic system experience preferred Experience working on electric, propane, and/or diesel forklifts Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics Ability to use a multimeter and basic diagnostic tools Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Raymond, Crown, Toyota, Hyster-Yale, or similar equipment experience is a plus Valid driver's license Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work around industrial equipment What We're Looking For Reliable and dependable Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Safety-minded Self-motivated and able to work independently Good communication skills Team player with a positive attitude Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $25.00- $30.00 per Hour Full-time position Overtime opportunities Paid time off Benefits available Opportunity for advancement Join our team and help keep our operation running safely and efficiently!
