Job Description
Keep Our Fleet Moving. Build Your Future. Robertsons Ready Mix is seeking a skilled and dependable Road Mechanic to join our team. If you enjoy diagnosing problems, working on heavy-duty equipment, and playing a critical role in keeping a fleet operating safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you. As a Road Mechanic, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of cement mixers, dump trucks, tractors, trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established company that values hard work, safety, and teamwork. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Perform preventive maintenance services on cement mixers and fleet vehicles Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension components, and driveline systems Respond to roadside service calls and emergency repairs as needed Conduct inspections to ensure DOT compliance and fleet safety Document repairs, maintenance, and parts usage accurately Work closely with operations personnel to minimize equipment downtime Maintain a clean and safe work environment What We're Looking For ✅ Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, or construction equipment ✅ Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities ✅ Knowledge of DOT regulations and preventive maintenance practices ✅ Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks ✅ Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) ✅ Welding and fabrication experience is a plus ✅ Strong commitment to workplace safety Why Join Robertsons Ready Mix?
