Job Summary Slaton Bros, Inc. is a specialty retaining wall contractor, with over 100 years of industry-leading experience, seeking a full-time Mechanic at our Denver/Commerce City location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and repairing heavy machinery, including industrial equipment and tractor-trailers. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will also provide exceptional customer service while working closely with clients to address their equipment needs. Duties

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures
• Travel to jobsites to repair and maintain equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment (Skid Steer, Excavator, Loader etc.)
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment Requirements
• Must be able to pass drug screen upon employment
• Must have your own tools
• 2-3 years of mechanic experience with heavy equipment
• Diesel mechanic experience
• Must speak English
• Must pass DOT background check
• CDL is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
