In this role, you will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric motors, generators, and related mechanical systems. Whether assisting experienced technicians or working independently, you will play a vital part in ensuring equipment operates efficiently and reliably. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting within a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Assist in diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues on electric motors, generators, and heavy equipment using schematics and diagnostic tools Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other mechanical devices to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify faults in wiring, switches, sensors, and control systems Follow safety protocols during manual handling of heavy parts and equipment to prevent injuries Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed and parts used for each job Skills Electrical experience including diagnostics, wiring repairs, soldering, and electrical troubleshooting are very helpful Familiarity with mechanical knowledge of engines, power generation systems, mechanical systems repair, and equipment troubleshooting Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately is a huge plus Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling safely in a busy workshop environment Able to legally operate a pick-up truck with trailer Wash motor parts prior to assembly Join our team to work on exciting projects that challenge your skills daily!
