Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fleet Tech to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing our fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, and industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure our vehicles and equipment operate efficiently and safely, supporting our ongoing commitment to excellence and reliability. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, automotive electrical systems, and diagnostic tools Repair transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical systems Conduct welding, fabrication, and assembly work as needed for equipment repairs or modifications Maintain detailed service records and logs for all repairs and maintenance activities Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform repairs efficiently and safely Assist with tire service, air brake systems, wheel alignments, and heavy lifting tasks Qualifications Proven experience working with dealership or heavy equipment repair is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and vehicle systems Hands-on experience with heavy truck repair, automotive diagnostics, and electrical system troubleshooting Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for industrial equipment Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely Skilled in welding, fabrication, soldering, and equipment assembly is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid certifications in diesel mechanics or heavy equipment operation are a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently using appropriate tools Join us as a Fleet Tech to keep our fleet running smoothly!
