Service Technician manages all in-shop, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. They diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. They are responsible for the maintenance, repair and communication of the equipment that resides on the branch property. Essential Functions Troubleshoots and diagnoses all types of equipment to ensure proper working condition Performs routine equipment clean-up and upkeep as well as safety review and pre-delivery inspections Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions and adjusts heavy equipment as required and completes all paperwork on the equipment to which the individual is assigned Participate in all training programs directed by Manager Bring to the attention of the Manager any shop tools, equipment or vehicle that is not in a serviceable condition or unsafe to use Maintains tools in good working order per MSHA and OSHA regulations Completes basic computer tasks including completing work orders, looking up parts, and communicating via email Communicates with coworkers to ensure top quality equipment is always available and customer expectation is exceeded Tie workflow to schedule Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Produce timely and detailed service reports Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings Must be able and willing to help train and assist other technicians in need of assistance Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
