Ideal candidates have 5+ years of heavy equipment repair experience with strong diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic skills. Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, and mechanical components Maintain construction equipment including skid steers, excavators, lifts, telehandlers, rollers, generators, compressors, and similar machines Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, preparation, and repairs in shop and occasional field environments Use diagnostic tools, computers, testing procedures, and service information to identify issues and determine effective repair solutions Test completed repairs and confirm equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for operation Complete work orders, document repairs, research parts and procedures, communicate service details, and maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements Required:
5+ years of hands-on experience repairing heavy equipment, diesel equipment, rental fleets, trucks, agricultural equipment, or similar machinery Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, and mechanical components Ability to work independently, manage repair priorities, and complete quality work in a fast-paced service environment Professional mechanic tools appropriate for heavy equipment repair Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Computer skills for diagnostics, work orders, parts lookup, service research, and communication Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused work habits with pride in completing repairs correctly #PJ1
Compensation:
$30.00 - $50.00/hour based on experience, skill level, and qualifications
