Our team is committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence across every jobsite. We are looking for a seasoned Service Technician to join our field service department and assist with day-to-day field jobs as well as shop maintenance. Summary The Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment at customer job sites or the company shop location. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this role requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent customer service while completing repairs safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment in the field, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Travel to customer sites or work locations using a company service vehicle. Perform scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and heavy equipment inspections. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using proper tools, manuals, and diagnostic equipment. Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent on service reports. Communicate effectively with Operations Manager, and customers regarding repair status. Maintain tools, service vehicle, and parts inventory in clean, safe working condition. Ability to operate heavy-duty crane on service truck. Follow all company safety policies, MSHA/OSHA regulations, and industry standards. Provide on-site technical support and recommendations to operators and customers.
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
