Duties Manage the daily operations of the hydraulic workshop, including scheduling repairs, overseeing workflow, and maintaining productivity levels. Supervise and mentor a team of technicians specializing in hydraulic systems, mechanical repairs, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting. Ensure all maintenance and repairs meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and adhere to safety regulations. Oversee the diagnosis and repair of complex hydraulic components on excavators, cranes, tractors, forklifts, farm machinery, construction equipment, and industrial machinery. Coordinate fabrication tasks such as welding and assembly to support custom repairs or modifications. Maintain detailed records of service work, parts inventory, and technician performance for quality assurance and reporting purposes. Foster excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair status and technical recommendations. Skills Proven dealership experience with heavy equipment or construction machinery is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge across various equipment types including excavators, cranes, tractors, forklifts, HVAC systems, transmissions, brake systems, suspension components, electrical systems, schematics reading, and diesel engine diagnostics. Expertise in equipment troubleshooting using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and diagnostic software. Ability to interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Experience with fabrication processes such as welding and assembly for custom or repair parts. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including crane operation or heavy lifting procedures is advantageous. Familiarity with OEM specifications for construction machinery maintenance and vehicle repair standards.
