Job Description

JOB FUNCTION
This will be entry-level position for a person with good basic mechanical skills. Must be capable of learning and developing the necessary skills to perform the job adequately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1 . Performs PM Inspections. 2 . Performs Post Trip Inspections. 3 . General repairs such as clutch and brake adjustments, lights and electrical repairs and tire placement with supervision. 4 . May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment, under mentorship 5 . Performs other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 . High school education acceptable. 2 . Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment. 3 . Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair. 4 . Equipment systems experience a plus. 5 . Must have effective oral and written communications effective listening skills, and ability to interact with others. 6 . 0-3 years of diesel shop experience acceptable.
