Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Hydraulic Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment to prevent downtime and extend machinery lifespan. Fabricate custom hydraulic components or modifications using welding, hand tools, and power tools to meet specific operational needs. Conduct vehicle diagnostics and mechanical systems repair on diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, and air brake systems. Maintain accurate service records, complete detailed repair reports, and document all work performed for accountability and future reference. Assist with equipment assembly, installation, alignment, and testing to ensure proper operation according to manufacturer specifications. Support customer service efforts by providing clear communication about repairs needed and maintenance schedules. Experience Proven experience working as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Hydraulic Technician in dealership or industrial settings. Hands-on knowledge of heavy truck repair, automotive electrical systems, HVAC systems, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with welding techniques such as soldering and the use of power tools for fabrication tasks. Experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other large machinery is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues efficiently. Ability to lift heavy components safely during repairs and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
