We're growing fast and need someone who can both fix and run our presses. The Role We're looking for a Mechanic / Record Press Operator to maintain, repair, and operate our vinyl presses. This is a mechanic-first role — you'll be the person who keeps the equipment running, not just watching it run. Strong hands-on repair skills are the priority. What You'll Do Mechanical/Repair (primary focus): Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on record presses Perform full preventive maintenance — not just minor fixes, but real repair work (rebuilding components, replacing parts, hydraulic system work) Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and get presses back online quickly Order and replace worn or failed parts Keep detailed repair and maintenance records
Press Operation:
Set up and run presses for production once repaired/maintained Adjust temperature, pressure, and timing to spec Inspect finished records for defects and correct issues at the source (often mechanical) Monitor equipment during runs for early signs of wear or failure
What You Bring Required:
Solid mechanical repair experience — industrial machinery, hydraulics, or similar equipment Ability to diagnose and fix problems independently, not just report them Comfortable with hands-on repair work (disassembly, part replacement, hydraulic systems) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for full shifts High school diploma or equivalent Available to start immediately
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
