Job Description

Job Summary The Mechanic Assistant helps the mechanics with daily shop work, basic maintenance, and keeping the shop clean and organized. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to learn about repairing and maintaining trucks, trailers, and equipment. No previous experience is required—we will train the right person. Responsibilities Help mechanics with repairs and routine maintenance. Change oil, replace filters, grease equipment, and check fluid levels. Wash and clean trucks, trailers, and equipment. Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of hazards. Get tools, parts, and supplies for mechanics as needed. Put away tools and help keep parts organized. Use hand and power tools safely. Follow all safety rules and wear required safety equipment. Help with other shop duties as assigned.
