The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy machinery, diesel engines, and hydraulics, ensuring optimal performance and safety of equipment used in various operational settings. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, proficiency with tools, and a minimum of two years of mechanic experience. Duties Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, and vehicles. Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, including engine components and related systems. Service and repair hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation of equipment. Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate corrective actions. Utilize diagnostic tools to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Assist in fleet maintenance tracking to optimize equipment uptime and reliability. Requirements At least two years of mechanic experience, preferably with heavy equipment or diesel mechanics. Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools. Knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engine repair, and general equipment maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on-site in a hands-on environment with minimal supervision. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is preferred but not mandatory. Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and quality standards.
