Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment in the field and shop Perform routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections on machinery Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime Document all repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities accurately Operate service trucks, tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with project managers and operators to schedule and prioritize repairs Ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and manufacturer safety standards Assist with equipment setup, testing, and commissioning on new projects Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly store tools and parts Provide occasional on-call or after-hours support for urgent equipment issues Required Skills Heavy equipment repair Hydraulic systems troubleshooting Diesel engine diagnostics Electrical systems diagnostics Welding and fabrication Preventative maintenance Reading technical manuals and schematics Use of diagnostic tools and software Safety and OSHA compliance Service documentation and reporting
