  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team.
In this role, you will provide on-site repair and maintenance services for a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets directly at customer sites or job locations. Your expertise will ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our clients' operational success. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics who thrive in a mobile environment and enjoy hands-on problem solving with diverse machinery. Duties Perform diagnostic assessments using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and electrical testing equipment to identify issues with heavy equipment, farm machinery, and vehicles. Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and other mechanical components. Fabricate parts or modifications using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs. Service a variety of machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. Execute tire services such as mounting, balancing, repairs, and replacements for various vehicles and heavy machinery. Follow detailed schematics and technical manuals to assemble or disassemble equipment accurately. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference. Ensure safety standards are upheld during all maintenance activities by adhering to proper procedures for heavy lifting and welding operations. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy equipment operation and automotive repair. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer specifications and advanced diagnostics. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, HVAC systems, transmissions, brakes (including air brake systems), and suspension components. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering is desirable. Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. Experience working with farm machinery, industrial equipment, excavators, cranes or similar large-scale machinery is advantageous.
