Back Hawk Rental / Black Hawk Equipment is the area leader for Equipment Rental, New and Used Equipment Sales, and Equipment Parts/Service. As we continue to grow, we have an immediate opening for an experienced Bobcat Service Technician. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bobcat Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Bobcat equipment and related machinery. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Bobcat equipment, including skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, excavators, utility vehicles, and attachments. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service inspections. Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and drivetrain systems. Complete work orders accurately and document repairs performed. Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status with customers and service advisors. Ensure repairs are completed according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. Respond to field service calls when required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical school training in diesel, heavy equipment, or automotive technology preferred. Previous experience repairing Bobcat, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various shop and outdoor conditions. Preferred Skills Bobcat certification or manufacturer training. Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
