Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Mechanic/Fabricator to join our team and contribute to the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. Duties Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air brake issues Repair diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, and steering systems Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met Troubleshoot warning lights and computerized engine systems Complete welding and fabrication repairs as needed Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond to breakdowns or emergency repairs when necessary Keep shop area clean, organized, and safe Qualifications Prior diesel mechanic experience preferred Knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment Experience with diagnostics software and scan tools preferred CDL preferred or ability to obtain one Welding/fabrication skills a plus Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

From $24.50 per hour
