Description Overview Build Your Career with Rural King Rural King is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Equipment Technician to provide on-site service throughout the assigned territory. Using a company-provided service truck, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain compact tractors, utility tractors, diesel-powered equipment, lawn tractors, zero-turn mowers, outdoor power equipment, and small engines at customer homes, farms, businesses, and dealer locations. - Small Engine Technician Responsibilities What You'll Do Travel throughout your assigned territory in a company-provided service truck Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment Perform preventative maintenance and warranty repairs Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, steering, drivetrain, and mechanical systems Use diagnostic software, scan tools, multimeters, service manuals, and schematics to identify equipment failures Complete electronic work orders, warranty documentation, and parts ordering Maintain service truck inventory and safely transport customer equipment Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance tips with customers Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical training Preferred Experience Experience servicing or repairing: Compact tractors Utility tractors Agricultural and farm equipment Heavy or construction equipment Experience with TYM, John Deere, Kubota, Mahindra, Massey Ferguson, Kioti, Bobcat, Case IH, New Holland, Gravely, Ferris, Hustler, Toro, Exmark, Scag, Bad Boy , or similar equipment is a plus.
