Job Description

Day in the life at Real Alloy - Chicago Heights When your shift begins at our Chicago Heights facility, you'll review work orders, join a quick safety huddle, and head out to keep our industrial fleet moving. You'll diagnose issues on forklifts, loaders, and other mobile equipment powered by internal combustion engines, then install, repair, test, adjust, and return them to service. Some tasks happen at elevation, and you'll regularly use mobile equipment, pneumatic and electric hand tools, and jacks to get the job done safely and efficiently. What you'll handle Repair and maintenance of mobile equipment with internal combustion engines across multiple platforms. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, equipment braking systems, and electrical/electronic components. Apply OSHA requirements for mobile equipment and verify proper operation of safety devices. Use pertinent diagnostic tools to pinpoint faults and validate repairs. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and EHS standards at all times. How you'll start Learn our safety and quality procedures from day one. Build skills specific to our process: converting aluminum scrap into molten metal and transferring it into molds.
Schedule and environment Day shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., plus a scheduled shift every other fourth Saturday. Heavy industry setting with rigorous safety and quality expectations. Pay, incentives, and growth Direct hire with a starting wage of $31.78/hr and scheduled increases, plus a structured skills training plan.
MONTHLY INCENTIVE BONUS
earn up to $500.00 .
Retention bonuses:
