Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Mechanical Technician I in Edwardsville, IL!

Pay Rate:

$20 per hour (DOE)

Contract-to-Hire Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician I to provide hands-on technical support for a dedicated customer at a single on-site location. This customer-facing role focuses on performing general maintenance, repairs, and service on a variety of mechanical equipment. Technicians will be assigned to one customer and will not be required to travel as part of their position.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site repairs, preventative maintenance, and general service on mechanical equipment using basic hand tools.

Conduct product demonstrations for basic mechanical equipment when needed.

Provide maintenance support and basic training to the customer's in-house maintenance staff.

Offer technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance as applicable.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Complete additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Previous mechanical maintenance, repair, or service experience preferred.

Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing hands-on mechanical work.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Must be able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.

Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
