What This Role Is We rent and sell concrete surface prep equipment (grinders, vacuums, etc.) used by contractors before applying resinous coatings. These machines take a beating. We need someone who can keep them running, diagnose problems correctly, and turn equipment around fast. When repair work is caught up, this role shifts into warehouse operations—receiving, stocking, picking, and keeping things organized. This is a hands-on role. If you like figuring out why something broke and getting it back into service, you'll do well here. What You'll Do Equipment Repair & Maintenance Diagnose and repair concrete grinders, vacuums, and related equipment Troubleshoot electrical systems (motors, VFDs, wiring, switches) Perform mechanical repairs (bearings, belts, gearboxes, rotating assemblies) Inspect and refurbish rental equipment between uses Identify root causes—not just swap parts Track repairs and communicate status to the team Rental Readiness Prep equipment for upcoming rentals (tested, cleaned, ready to go) Check equipment back in and assess damage or wear Maintain a clean, organized repair area Warehouse Operations (when not repairing equipment) At the Direction of the

Store Manager and Store Associate:

Receive and put away inbound inventory Pick and stage customer orders Load/unload trucks Maintain inventory accuracy Keep the warehouse clean and organized What You Need Technical Skills Strong mechanical aptitude (you've fixed real equipment before) Working knowledge of electrical systems (220V/3-phase is a plus) Ability to troubleshoot; not just replace parts Comfortable using tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment Ability to read or learn basic schematics Experience (one or more of the following) Construction equipment repair Industrial maintenance Generator / compressor / heavy equipment service Automotive technician with strong electrical skills Work Style Takes ownership of problems and sees them through Works with urgency; equipment downtime matters Willing to jump in on warehouse work when needed Organized and detail-oriented Physical Requirements Lift up to 75 lbs Stand, bend, and move throughout the day Work in a warehouse/shop environment
