FORKLIFT TECHNICIAN
- ROAD compensation: Competitive compensation based on experience employment type: Full-Time with Overtime available
WE ARE LOOKING FOR FORKLIFT MECHANICS/TECHNICIANS FOR THE ROAD
(OCCASIONALSHOP WORK MAY BE REQUIRED
). Forklift Road Technicians Needed (Melrose Park) Immediate openings compensation: Negotiable based on experience employment type: full-time Fox Valley Forklift is currently hiring full-time Service Technicians at our Melrose Park Location. As a family oriented business we take pride in providing exceptional quality service for forklift and material handling equipment in the Chicagoland area. Service Technicians are the core of our ability to keep our customer's machines up and running. This is a great position for those looking to work with their hands and take on a variety of new challenges daily. Field technicians will be provided a service van with shelving, compressor and inventory. The position might be right for you if you have:- Experience servicing Forklifts
- General mechanical knowledge and experience (experience with hydraulics, electrical or drive systems is preferred).
- Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial (preferred) or automotive industries.
- Excellent communications skills.
- The ability to manage time and attendance. You must dependable, self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment. What you will be responsible for:
- Identifying, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Keeping service lead informed of all problems and potential problems involving service repairs.
- Maintaining inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working order.
- Completing all service repair assignments in a reasonable time.
