Work on a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment, including:- Excavators, dozers and other heavy equipment
- Diesel engines and transmissions
- Hydraulic systems and hose assemblies
- Electrical and Tier IV emissions systems
- Preventive maintenance and diagnostics
- Field repairs and troubleshooting
- Welding, cutting and fabrication You'll work with a team that includes heavy equipment technicians, truck mechanics, fabricators, body/paint technicians and parts support.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of mechanical experience
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment
- Experience diagnosing and repairing construction equipment
- Caterpillar, John Deere and Komatsu diagnostic experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Hydraulic, diesel and Tier IV emissions experience
- Ability to drive a manual service truck
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- CDL preferred, or willingness to obtain one through company training
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to continue learning
