In this role, you will be responsible for safely disassembling vehicles and machinery to recover usable parts, ensuring all procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality standards. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will contribute to efficient inventory management and support our commitment to providing high-quality parts for automotive and industrial needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in mechanical systems and vehicle maintenance will make a tangible impact. Duties Carefully dismantle vehicles or machinery using appropriate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to identify and remove usable parts Follow safety regulations and protocols during all dismantling activities to prevent accidents and injuries Manually handle heavy components, ensuring proper lifting techniques and use of mechanical aids when necessary Inspect parts for wear, damage, or defects, and determine their suitability for resale or reuse Maintain detailed records of dismantled parts, including serial numbers, condition reports, and inventory updates Utilize automotive electrical systems knowledge and ohmmeters to test electrical components for functionality Support vehicle maintenance operations by assisting with mechanical repair tasks as needed Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance, mechanical systems repair, or automotive service Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, schematics, and ohmmeters for electrical testing Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy components safely and efficiently Familiarity with safety regulations related to dismantling operations and industrial environments Experience working with diesel mechanics or automotive electrical systems is highly desirable Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for precise disassembly Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and support operational needs Join us if you're eager to apply your mechanical expertise in a lively environment where safety, quality, and teamwork drive success!
