The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing and repairing a variety of heavy equipment, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in the shop and have the ability to work independently and with a team efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a fast-paced and growing team. Pay scale will be dependent on experience and availability.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair customer equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections. Provide technical support to customers. Complete service reports and document customer interactions. Diagnose and resolve technical issues. Keep accurate records of parts used and services performed. Provide on-site training to customers on the use of equipment.

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work setting: In-shop work
Experience:
Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred) Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred) Hydraulic experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location:
Fort Wayne. Preferred qualifications
  • Proficient in diagnostics and diesel engine repair
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and dozers
  • Experience in machine maintenance, air brake systems, and hydraulics
  • Ability to perform welding, fabrication, and some heavy lifting tasks
  • Strong background in mechanical knowledge and OEM equipment maintenance
