Automotive Parts Manager - Auto & Diesel Repair Locke Auto & Diesel Repair Nappanee, IN Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $75,000 a year 16 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Service writing Sourcing Pricing Driver's License Computer skills Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description How was your week? Ours was great — and not one vehicle sat waiting on a part. That's the job. Locke Auto & Diesel Repair is a full-service auto and diesel shop in Nappanee, Indiana. Today's technology, yesterday's values — that's not a slogan on the wall, it's how we run. Every vehicle gets inspected within 15 minutes of arrival. The moment a customer says go, the clock is running, and the only thing that can stop a repair order cold is a part that isn't here, isn't right, or isn't priced right. We need somebody who takes that personally.
What you own:
Sourcing and quoting parts in minutes, not hours — american/asian cars - light duty diesel. Techs build the repair order; you make sure what's on it is available, correct, and profitable. Right part, first time. Zero comebacks caused by a wrong part number. Cores, returns, and credits chased down and closed. Every one. That's our money sitting on somebody else's shelf. Vendor accountability. You set the delivery expectation and hold them to it, and you work our cost down without trading away speed. A clean, labeled, counted parts room. Nobody hunts for anything, ever. What you need:
Parts experience in an auto, diesel, truck, or heavy-equipment environment — or strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to prove you can source fast and accurately. Comfort with diesel applications, or the drive to learn them quickly. Solid computer skills. You'll live in a shop management system and a half-dozen supplier catalogs. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. You'll fit here if: You're wired for detail and speed. Most people are one or the other. We need both. You'd rather solve it than discuss it. A misfiled core still bugs you at 9 p.m. You don't need anyone standing over you. You'd rather be paid for what you produce than for showing up. You won't fit here if: "I'll get back to you" is part of your vocabulary. You need a meeting before you make a decision. You want a paycheck that stays the same whether you had a great month or a terrible one. What we offer:
100% commission on parts gross profit. The better you perform, the bigger the check — every week. No weekends. No late nights.Health / Dental
