This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company equipment and vehicles in our shop. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and necessary repairs. Change oil, replace filters, lubricate equipment, and perform routine service work. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Maintain accurate service and maintenance records. Assist with inventory management and ensure parts and supplies are stocked. Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe. Work closely with mechanics, operators, and management to minimize equipment downtime. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous experience performing equipment or vehicle maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
