Job Overview Join Elite Roadside Service , a fast-growing, dispatch-driven roadside company specializing in heavy-duty semi-truck repair , with additional service for medium-duty trucks and passenger vehicles when needed. This is a high-performance field technician role focused on tires, brakes, seals, bearings, electrical, and diagnostics . You will operate a fully equipped service truck, respond to live dispatch calls, and perform on-site repairs that keep drivers and fleets moving. Core Responsibilities Respond to dispatched roadside calls quickly and professionally Diagnose and repair heavy-duty truck issues on-site , including: Tire repair and replacement- Semi Truck Brake inspections and brake repairs Hub, seal, and bearing issues Air leaks and basic air system repairs Lighting and electrical faults Perform battery diagnostics and jump starts Use scan tools and multimeters to diagnose electrical and engine-related issues Complete mechanical repairs to get units safely back on the road Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers (ETA, repair status, needs) Complete digital work orders (labor, parts, notes) accurately Maintain service truck, tools, and inventory Follow all roadside safety procedures (traffic awareness, cones, PPE) Work Environment 100% field-based (roadside + occasional lot/shop work) Covers major routes including I-75 and surrounding service areas Job Overview Required Skills & Experience Strong mechanical experience (diesel) Ability to diagnose without supervision in real-world roadside conditions Experience with: Hand tools & power tools Air tools (½" & 1" impact, tire equipment) Electrical diagnostics (multimeter/daignostic laptops) Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong problem-solving mindset and urgency Reliable and self-motivated Valid driver's license with clean driving record w/ Medical card Preferred (But Not Required) Semi-truck / heavy-duty repair experience Tire service experience (commercial truck tires) Experience with Diesel Laptops or similar diagnostic tools Prior roadside or mobile mechanic experience Compensation Structure (Performance-Based) Hourly High earning potential based on productivity and efficiency What Makes Elite Different Dispatch-driven system = consistent call flow Focused service scope = faster jobs, higher volume Low downtime = more earning opportunities Real growth path as we expand into multiple cities You are not just a mechanic—you are the face of the company in the field Who This Job Is For Techs who want to make real money, who are avaliable mornings and evenings People who can think on their feet and work independently Who This Job Is NOT For Entry-level with no mechanical experience Anyone who needs constant supervision People uncomfortable working roadside or in traffic environment Strong mechanical experience (diesel or automotive) Ability to diagnose without supervision in real-world roadside conditions Experience with: Hand tools & power tools Air tools (½" & 1" impact, tire equipment) Electrical diagnostics (multimeter/ohmmeter) Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong problem-solving mindset and urgency Reliable and self-motivated Valid driver's license with clean driving record Preferred (But Not Required) Semi-truck / heavy-duty repair experience Tire service experience (commercial truck tires) Experience with Diesel Laptops or similar diagnostic tools Prior roadside or mobile mechanic experience
