Overview We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with 5+ years experience to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting a variety of equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work well independently and with others. Duties Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including lubrication, cleaning and inspections Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, such as electrical, mechanical or hydraulic issues Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is in proper working order Use hand tools, power tools and specialized equipment to assemble, disassemble or repair equipment components Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing or repairs Collaborate with other team members to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities and parts inventory Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or in a similar role Valid driver's license with cleaning driving record Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions If you have a passion for working with equipment and enjoy solving technical challenges, we encourage you to apply for the position of Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
