This position is located in District 05/Unit720 of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to the Highway Foreman 2. Minimum Qualifications Three years of experience in mobile equipment operations. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Operates lowboy which include a variety of tractor-trailer combinations. Operates the heavy equipment as needed such as asphalt distributor (truck mounted), backhoes, frontend loaders, motor graders, etc. Perform duties as directed, such as shoveling asphalt, digging footings for setting concrete forms, placing traffic control devices, delivering, loading and unloading materials and/or equipment, flagging traffic, operating power and/or hand tools, etc. Performs minor repairs, services, preventative maintenance, and cleans equipment in accordance with operator's manual and manufacturer's recommendations to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. May be required to perform other duties as necessary, including but not limited to, emergency/disaster support activities.

Starting hourly rate is $22.52/hr and the maximum is $40.53.
Work Schedule:
