We are looking for a certified, qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We need someone dependable, experienced, and able to work independently on a variety of heavy equipment and mechanical repairs. This is a hands-on position for an all-around mechanic who knows their way around heavy equipment and isn't afraid to get the job done. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment Work on excavators and other construction equipment Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs Change and repair tires, rims, and wheels Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues Perform field repairs and service work Welding and fabrication as needed Keep equipment running safely and efficiently Help with general mechanical repairs as needed Equipment & Tools We have a fully equipped service truck on site, including: Welding machine Small crane Extensive selection of tools Equipment and supplies needed for field repairs Qualifications Certified and/or qualified heavy equipment mechanic Previous experience working on heavy equipment required Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience with excavators and construction equipment Able to change tires and rims Welding experience is a plus Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded Able to work independently and take initiative
