Overview Join our dynamic team as a Flooring Equipment Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing essential flooring machinery and equipment. Duties Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of flooring equipment, including power tools, generators, and heavy machinery. Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently. Perform diesel engine repairs and small engine maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on various systems, ensuring safety standards are met. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical tools to perform repairs and upgrades. Perform routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Assist with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and moving of equipment safely and effectively. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with similar machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, diesel engine repair, and mechanical systems repair. Experience with power generation systems, generator repair, welding, soldering, and small engine maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools and schematics. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair devices. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely; comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Pay:
$40.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
