Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Mechani c to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment, including trucks, heavy equipment, welding equipment, and other small machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience and be comfortable working on both gas and diesel equipment. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet and machinery, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. This position includes both shop and onsite/field work, so we are looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment Perform repairs and maintenance on gas and diesel engines Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, and suspension systems Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the appropriate repairs Complete onsite/field repairs when needed Perform repairs and maintenance in the shop Keep company trucks and equipment safe, reliable, and in good working condition Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance Respond to breakdowns and service calls when required Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines Requirements Minimum 5 years of heavy-duty mechanic experience Strong experience with both gas and diesel engines Valid driver's license Clean and acceptable driving record required Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to work in both a shop and onsite/field environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Preferred Qualifications Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, or commercial vehicles Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems Welding/fabrication experience is a plus CDL is a plus, but not required Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining top-tier machinery that keeps operations running smoothly!
