Job Summary:
The Field Mechanic/Supervisor will complete all repairs and preventative maintenance, working in the field and in the shop to comply with equipment reliability and standards. Will supervise the field and shop mechanics in his/her area. (FL) Company service truck will be provided to execute all repair requirements. Maintenance mechanic will report any foreseeable problems to the Maintenance Manager.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
Mechanical knowledge including pumps, hydraulics and electrical Supervision of mechanics and maintenance programs Welding Basic intermediate computer skills Experience with work order execution Has own tools Experience with safety training Keep up with training and process needs, requirements. Problem solving and root case diagnosis Communicate well and works in clean orderly manner Other duties as assigned Work afternoon shift and overtime when available.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred) 5+ years of professional mechanic experience
Additional Requirements/Skills:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with medium and heavy duty equipment repairs. Heavy truck repair experience. Must have Preventative Maintenance system experience. Possess own tools. Must be able to work in closed and open environments. Class C driver's license Experience with boiler/steam truck maintenance (preferred) Experience with vac truck maintenance (preferred) Service truck experience (preferred)
