As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Technician/Mechanic to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide range of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, lifts, and other machinery in our rental and sales fleet. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and values being part of a close-knit, family-oriented business.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment status Ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for customers Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform onsite service calls with company service truck

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic/technician 1-3 years minimum experience preferred. (rental fleet experience is a plus) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Own basic mechanic tools (specialty tools provided by company) Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
